ARE YOU LOOKING FOR WAYS TO HELP REFUGEES IN THE TWIN CITIES? Minnesota has welcomed 1,248 Afghan evacuees, 257 Afghan families since September 2021. Over half are 18 years old and younger; 45 % 19 to 50.

The International Institute of Minnesota is actively involved in assisting with settling Afghan refugees.

There are many ways to help: Volunteer, donate food, clothing, furnishings, books, etc. and cash donations.
