Join Bet Shalom
As a Reform Jewish Congregation, we’re a part of a larger movement called the Union for Reform Judaism. For more than 40 years, we’ve been made up of individuals and families seeking a warm and welcoming congregation to call their spiritual home. Our diverse membership welcomes you to the community and hope you’ll consider becoming a member.
To join Bet Shalom, please fill out the form below or reach out to Amber Brumbaugh, our Director of Operations (abrumbaugh@betshalom.org or 952-426-6640) to let us know you’re interested. She will then put the wheels in motion to arrange meetings with one of our Rabbis and someone from our Executive Committee. After those meetings, you’ll be sent an member application and member pledge form.
We switched from a dues model a few years ago, in favor of a philanthropic approach, that asks members to donate an amount that is meaningful to them. It currently costs approximately $3,300 per household to run Bet Shalom and we ask people to donate as much of that as they can. Most new members contribute between $1,000 and $1,500 in their first year.
Once you join Bet Shalom, you will be included in all of our mailings, invited to attend all of our services, and become involved in Small Groups and Committees. We are here for you and You Belong Here.
