We are delighted to announce an amazing opportunity for our Bet Shalom students – the Clyde and Kay Cooperman Scholarship. This scholarship honors the memory and legacy of Clyde and Kay Cooperman, who were devoted members of our congregation and passionate supporters of Jewish education. They left a generous bequest to help future generations of Bet Shalom students achieve their academic and personal goals.
The Clyde and Kay Cooperman Scholarship is designed to assist students who have demonstrated financial need and a deep commitment to learning, growth, and service. The scholarship can provide up to $10,000 towards tuition fees for one year of post-secondary education and can be renewed for subsequent years based on eligibility and availability of funds.
The scholarship is open to all Bet Shalom students who are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or vocational program. The scholarship review committee will evaluate applications based on financial need, academic performance, community involvement, and potential for making a positive difference in the world.
