Our next birding social will be at the Bass Ponds in Bloomington - 2325 E. 86th St. (East 86th Street and Old Shakopee Road), on Sunday, May 7 at 8:30 - 10:30 am. The Bass Ponds Trailhead is part of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Some of you will remember that we visited there last year as well. 

The Bass Ponds have long been one of the top birding destinations in Hennepin County, especially this time of year, so it's worthy of a revisit. Many interesting birds have been seen there as of late.
