Our next Bet Shalom Emeritus meeting will be on Thursday, December 22nd at 10 AM. We will be accessible either onsite or via ZOOM. Our topic for discussion will be: THE DECEMBER DILEMMA- THEN AND NOW.

We all remember what this time of year was like when we were youngsters: The social pressures, the Christmas Carols in school that we might have been forced to sing, the token inclusion of a song during a Christmas program at school, the well-intentioned "Merry Christmas” greeting and awkward responses, followed by the shock of someone hearing that we don’t celebrate Christmas, etc. Are things any different in 2022?
