Volunteer Serving a Meal on Christmas

Through our partnership with Loaves and Fishes, Bet Shalom is serving an evening meal on December 25 at St. Stephens, beginning at 4:30pm. This is an amazing volunteer opportunity for families with children 2nd grade and older.

Tot Chanukah Party

Join us for our Tot Chanukah Party – a special Chanukah potluck, music, crafts, and dreidels! Bagels, latkes, sour cream, and applesauce will be provided. This event is geared for families with children 6 years old and under.

Birthday Party Project

Join Bet Shalom Yeladim for a social action project! Put gift bags together in partnership with the Birthday Party Project. Gift bags are used during a monthly birthday party celebration put on for children living in homeless shelters across the country.

Shabbat Programming Grades 1-4

Your entire family is invited to join us for the upcoming 1st-4th Grade Family Shabbat Program.

This special Shabbat is an opportunity to join together with other families to celebrate Shabbat with a brief service, enjoy lunch and have fun making a unique family craft project.

Family Movie Night

Bet Shalom Yeladim is having a family movie night, and we want you to join us! Please arrive around 6:30 pm. The movie will start around 7:00 pm.

Please bring blankets/pillows. We’ll provide the snacks and drinks! And, of course, kids are welcome to wear pajamas!


OSRUI Pancake Brunch

Bet Shalom believes that Jewish summer camp has the power to transform lives. We are committed to helping all our youth take advantage of this incredible opportunity. Please join us in the Bet Shalom Social Hall at our community-wide pancake brunch fundraiser to support our Summer 2019 Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute (OSRUI) campers! Enjoy a delicious pancake brunch while learning how OSRUI has impacted the lives of our young people.

Suggested donation of $18 per person or $36 per family. Tickets will also be available at the door. An anonymous donor will match up to $500 for OSRUI camp scholarships raised through the Pancake Brunch!

Parents Night Out – Cabin Fever

Parents, enjoy a night out together or with friends and let us do the babysitting! Drop your child(ren) off from 6:00 pm-8:30 pm, pizza and applesauce pouches will be provided and we will have cookie decorating and activities for the kiddos. Welcome to ages 6 weeks to 5 years and older siblings. $10 per child, $25 max per family. RSVP by emailing abrumbaugh@betshalom.org.

PJ Traveling Library Havdallah Event
