Shabbat Morning Services and Passover Yizkor

Four times a year we set aside time to remember loved ones of blessed memory. We call this yizkor and invite you to join us. Here is an article to learn more.  We will observe Passover Yizkor during Shabbat Morning services on April 3.
If you are planning to participate in services and would like to request that a name be read during the memorial portion of the service, please email jackie.kay@betshalom.org.

****Our services have been moved to Zoom. If you would like a link to our Zoom services, please email Jackie Kay.****

Services occur every Shabbat morning at 10am. To read this week’s Torah portion CLICK HERE.

On many Shabbat mornings, a young person becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah joins the rabbis and cantor on the bimah as they celebrate crossing the threshold into Jewish adulthood.  Our Shabbat morning service includes the reading of Torah, opportunities for inspiration and learning, and our very own Bet Shalom Shabbat Morning Prayer book. The entire community is encouraged to come celebrate the accomplishments of our B’nai Mitzvah.

On Shabbat mornings when our service does not include a Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration, we invite you to gather with us as a congregation for an informal service.  We hope that in the coming year, you will join us and enjoy the community we create on Shabbat mornings.

Passover Seder

It is our tradition to recall the story of our People each year in this season. Join us for an all ages Passover Zoom Seder to remember, on the first night of Pesach, as we celebrate our heritage of liberation, freedom and justice. No haggadah is required, though if you prefer to have one in your hands, any haggadah will work great.

Passover Kickoff

Join the Bet Shalom community for a pre-seder Passover kickoff on Zoom.  We’ll have a chance to wish each other Chag Sameach, Light the Candles together, and find inspiration in our community as we recall our redemption from Egypt.
