Judaism 101 is an introduction to the basics of Judaism and its history, customs, traditions, and philosophy. This course provides a broad overview and is for those interested in, or new to, Judaism, or anyone seeking to renew or enhance their Jewish knowledge. For some, it is a partial fulfillment of the requirements of our conversion program and adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah program. This course provides an opportunity to explore many of the questions we have about Judaism, the Jewish people, and the Jewish way of life. See the full syllabus and schedule here. Registration required here.
Class meets 10:00-11:30 am, one Sunday each month from September-April; May-August classes meet on one Tuesday evening each month from 5:30-7:00 pm.
The curriculum includes a number of other experiences and learning opportunities.
