Service Schedule

8:30 am Morning Service – Ruach Service

As on Rosh Hashanah, our Yom Kippur Ruach Service is led by our Rabbis, Cantor, and Ruach Ensemble. This slightly abbreviated service is filled with contemporary music, a Torah Service, and a sermon. Free childcare is available during this service, but requires Registration.

10:15 am: Tot Service (Sanctuary)

This “pre-reader” High Holiday experience is designed for our youngest children, ages 0-6, and their families. Participants will experience a sampling of the Yom Kippur service, including the chanting of Kol Nidre, singing fun songs together, and a story.

10:15 amChildren’s Service (Downstairs Auditorium)

This service, designed for children in grades 2-5 and their families, contains many elements of our High Holiday services for our students who may not be ready for the other adult service offerings.

11:15 am: Traditional Style

This service is the most traditional of our Yom Kippur daytime experiences. We will explore the depth of our Holiday Machzor (prayer book), hear the Torah reading, a sermon, and traditional selections of music. Free childcare is available during this service, but requires Registration.

2:00 pm: Food for Thought Forum: My Relationship with Israel

Free childcare is available during the forum, but requires Registration.

2:00 pm: 8th-12th Grade Programming – Youth Lounge

Our teens will join together for an engaging discussion about Israel with new CLASP Fellow/Youth Director, Jake Levine.

3:00 pm Contemplative music in the sanctuary

3:30 pm Afternoon worship, including Healing Service, The Afternoon/Minchah Service, Eileh Ezk’rah, Yizkor, Neilah, 

Following Afternoon worship: Break-the-Fast with Bet Shalom: Registration necessary (no charge).
