We had our last full week of the school year. We focused on an All About Me book, math concepts of graphing and surveys and planting a garden by the playground!
Everyone will be taking their All About Me book home. Everyone worked hard on theirs. Some of the information might be blank but you can help your child fill it out.
We did some graphing with fish and m & m’s and focused on the words “most” and “least”.
A big hit was surveys. We were surprised that some kids knew that a survey could be about the land or a survey of what friends like or know. They did a really good job going around the class asking a friend if they liked different items.
Tuesday was Book Character Day and everyone had a favorite book!
We added animal masks for our Rainforest but I think most of them got taken home. 🙂
We also celebrated Quinn’s birthday exactly two months early since he won’t be here this summer.
On Monday we started with water color painting and secret words. We drew with white crayon and then painted over to see what we drew or wrote.
We will miss this wonderful group of kids for the summer and wish the best to all of our friends going to other programs this summer!
Next week, our PreK Gradutes (those going to Kindergarten) will have their graduation on Wednesday at 5pm. There will be a link that you can live stream too.
Next week we will have some fun end of the year activities.
