Happy last day of April! We are so close to the end of the school year and closer to summer which is very bitter sweet as some friends move on. This week our focus was on The Three Little Pigs, the letter Yy and being kind.
We started the week with reading the pigs side of the story and then later in the week reading the wolf’s side of the story to The Three Little Pigs. Some of the activities that we focused on were:
Building houses made of different material:
Making pigs and wolves and putting on a puppet show:
Blowing air experiment – they had to blow different items from a blue line to another blue line and count how many blows they had to take. It was pretty fun watching them do this experiment!
Letter Y: punching holes in a Y and stringing yarn through the holes
Friday we were able to have an in-person Shabbat with Rabbi Crimmings! It was such a great feeling to be in the sanctuary and be able to celebrate Shabbat with Rabbi Crimmings.
Next week our farm dramatic play will be gone and we will have a new dramatic play space for May. We will have our last letter of the year, Zz. We will also be making some special things for our moms!
I hope you can get outside this weekend to enjoy the beautiful weekend!
