Brrrr. It’s getting cold outside, but we think it’s so cute seeing the babes all bundled up in their hats, mittens and even their snowsuits.
This week, we spent a lot of time building towers with our new teacher made blocks. It is so much fun racing the babies to stack the boxes on top of each other, only for them to knock them down even faster. Some of the bigger boxes, the babies have discovered are fun to sit on. Luckily, they just pop back into shape and we can stack them all over again.
Tuesday, we had group circle time. We sang some favorites, like “Twinkle, Twinkle” and brought out the puppets to accompany us as we sang. The babies loved the puppets and wanted to hold and snuggle them.
Wednesday, we had music with Rabbi Crimmings. We sang all of our favorites. After music, we had story time where we read shape books. The babies crowd in a circle trying to get as close as they can to see the action and feel the pages.
Thursday, the littles got even more time to feel the pages of books when brought out the fabric ones. The textures and noises attract their attention, especially our little babies.
Throughout the week, we have been working on updating our family board. Check out the final product at drop off next week.
Friday, will bring Shabbat, books, and blocks.
Remember, Monday is Pajama Day!
We hope everyone has a restful and safe weekend.
Warmly, Miss Sarah, Miss Heidi, Miss Rosie and Miss Hannah
