Happy Friday and the last day of April! We hope you all had a wonderful week. In Tzahov this week, we had a lot of fun playing in the newly decorated for spring play house. The babies enjoyed crawling in and out of the house and playing peek a boo through the windows and door.
Sensory bottles and musical toys were on the shelves this week to aide in teaching loud and quiet. Unlike other opposites taught this month, this pair is practiced all the time. The babies love to be loud (the teachers are amazed when it’s quiet)!
Standing and sitting is a skill we also practice all the time, especially for our littlest Tzahov babes. They love to be upright, looking around. This month we had a few babies master pulling up to stand on their own and just as important, getting back down! We also have a couple of new walkers!! We are so proud of all the babes!
We celebrated Cooper F.’s first birthday on Thursday! He is such a fun babe with lots of smiles, chatter, and love to give. We were happy to share in his big celebration.
Also on Thursday, we were able to get outside for a walk around the Bet Shalom grounds. We stopped to see the turtles and ducks in the pond and saw flowers and birds. It was so wonderful to get outside!
In May, our theme is Signs of Spring. We will be teaching about flowers, the weather, bugs, and birds. Stay tuned for new books, songs, art opportunities, and new vocabulary.
Until next week, Miss Heidi, Miss Sarah, and Miss Noa
