Beep, beep, toot toot, vroooommmm! This week was our last week of Transportation. We ended the month by driving vehicles on the new classroom roadway, stamping the babes footprints, and washing cars. This week we also celebrated Nadav’s first birthday and welcomed Ellie C. back to class.
On Monday when the littles arrived, they noticed the roadway taped to the carpet and many cars, trucks, and emergency vehicles to play with. One highlight was filling and dumping dump trucks. Another was helping to pull back and release self propelled smiley and squishy vehicles that ran the length of the roadway.
On Tuesday, we celebrated Nadav’s first birthday. We love spending our days with Nadav and are excited to see his continued development in next few months.
Also on Tuesday, we stamped the babes footprints and made them into different vehicles. We forgot to take pictures for the blog of all of the vehicles before sending them home, but we think they turned out so cute!!
Wednesday brought circle time reading books and singing songs. The babies love music time!!
We also joined the zoom call with Cantor Havilio for more music! We welcomed Ellie C. back to class after a long break. It was so great to see her smiling face!
On Thursday, the babes washed cars and splashed water to their heart’s content. While splashing they were rockin’ and a rollin’ to Bobby Darin’s Splish, Splash song. Playing with water is a super fun sensory activity!
Friday, Fri-yay! In the morning, we signed onto the BSY Shabbat zoom call, sang songs and welcomed Shabbat with the other BSY classrooms. The rest of the day was spent playing. We all love to play!
Next month, we will be focusing on colors and highlighting the book, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? We are looking forward to new songs, books, sensory activities, and loads of fun!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend,
Miss Heidi, Miss Sarah, and Miss Lauren
