Happy Friday Tzahov Families!
This week was action packed! We had lively circle times with ABC books and music, letter stamping, kitchen fun and had a dance party.
During circle time, our focus was ABC. We read books, such as, Chicka, Chicka Boom Boom, Dr. Suess’s ABC Book and My First ABC Book. The babies love to cuddle up with a teacher to look and flip through the pages.
Music was also very entertaining for the littles, as they listened to the teachers sing some of their favorites like, “If You’re Happy And You Know It”, “Old MacDonald” and “Head, Shoulders, Knees And Toes”. The babes were captivated by the teachers singing with such enthusiasm.
A fun project was enjoyed by the babies this week. The teachers wrote each childs’ name on a sheet of paper. Then a letter stamp of the first name was given to each child. The babies then practiced stamping the first letter of their name on the paper. It was a great activity to practice the pincer grip.
On Tuesday, everyone dressed up in their tie dye that was made at the beginning of last week. It was so fun to see all the different designs and colors. We can’t wait to do this again!
This kids continue to enjoy the kitchen. Their imagination comes alive when the dishes and play foods come out. The kids like to “drink” tea and “prepare” foods in the oven.
We ended the week with an ABC dance party! A compilation of ABC songs played on the iPad as the teachers danced their hearts out with babies in their arms. The kids and the teachers enjoyed getting some energy out!
Next week we look forward to Thanksgiving. The room has been decorated with festive turkeys the kids helped make.
Sincerely, Miss Hedi, Miss Lauren and Miss Sarah
