Happy April Tzahov families, this first week of April was amazing, active, awesome, and all around fun.
On Monday, we introduced black sheep from the Brown Bear, Brown Bear book. This is our last animal and color from the babies most treasured story. The babies love the repetition of the story.
Tuesday was picture day and so fun to see the babes all dressed up. We also enjoyed a visit from new baby Eliana who starts next week. “Baa Baa Black Sheep” is a beloved song to sing in our room and now is very fitting to the theme. The babies love hearing their names as we sing, yes sir, yes sir, 4 bags full. One for ——- and one for ——, one for —— and one for ——.
Playing with the little people farm is also a favorite pastime. This week was enhanced by putting out a lot of sheep to play with.
On Wednesday, music was led by Rabbi Crimmings. We sang songs for Passover and some favorites like the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and the “Hokey Pokey”. We also had music time in our room with the musical instruments and egg shakers.
Liam and his mom came for a visit. It is so fun to see how much he’s grown. We sure miss him a lot. We also missed Miss Katie a lot and were so happy to see her on Thursday! The babies (and teachers) were all smiles for her!!
Smiles were all around when the babies splashed during water play and played with bouncy balls.
On Thursday, we also practiced a tornado drill. We all gathered in the “big room” and covered our heads. It was a good practice.
Friday brings good weather and good weather means outside walks! Bringing in Shabbat and a good walk makes for an awesome day!!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
All our best, Ms. Heidi, Ms. Sarah, and Ms. Katie
