The days and week went by so quickly. The babies all stayed so busy and kept us on our toes.
On Monday, Easton had his first day of mingling with the toddlers. The babies got their foot or hand print stamped for a special display on the door.
Also, there was a lot of time rolling around on the mat exploring the toys.
On Tuesday, the babes were super excited when the containers and lids were available to play with. It’s amazing how much joy the babes show from playing with empty containers and lids!! Cognitively, it’s great to watch and help them open the containers to get a toy. Musically, it’s fun to shake them. The babes also can use their imagination when playing by putting the covers on their head like a hat.
Also on Tuesday, the babies all sat in a circle for music time with puppets. Everyone was entertained and enjoyed the instruments and puppets.
Always on Wednesdays, we have music time with the clergy. This week, Cantor Schwartz led music and again, the babies sat and listened well. It’s fun to see the older babes using their hands to create the motions for songs like the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” or “Wheels on the Bus”.
Thursday brought more foot and handprint stamps for the door as well as balls, bean bags, and block towers.
Miss Amanda invited us to watch her class release butterflies. It was a little chilly outside, but it was also a nice change of scenery from our classroom.
Thursday was also tye dye making day. We’re looking forward to tye dye dress up day next Tuesday when everyone can wear their tye dye shirts!!
On Friday, we’ll join together as a school to welcome Shabbat and enjoy each other’s friendship as we prepare for a long weekend.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and Memorial Day and we’ll see you all on Tuesday.
Warmly, Ms. Heidi, Ms. Katie, and Ms. Sarah
