Happy Independence Day Tzahov Families. We hope you all enjoyed the 4th with your families and friends.
We hope the fireworks pictures the babies made Wednesday morning brightened the somewhat rainy day and added a “spark” of joy to your celebration. The babies enjoyed the fun, sensory art activity of stamping their hands and making patterns on the paper.
Many young teenagers have been taking time out of their summer to spend time with the kids at Bet Shalom Yeladim. This week, Nathan spent time with the littles. They bonded over playing peek-a-boo and playing with planes, cars and boats.
This month we are focusing on different types of transportation. We have small, medium and large cars and trucks, a bus, a dump truck and a bulldozer. The babies love pushing and sliding them around.
Earlier in the week, we also created a new pond by the rocking chair for the babies to play on. We put different aquatic life, such as fish, frogs and ducks on the pond. The babies loved to gather around the pond and sing songs like, “One Fish, Two Fish” and “Five Green Frogs”. Going along with our transportation theme, we also added boats to the pond for the littles to play with. “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” has become a favorite song this week!! Finding new, easy ways to make our room a little different offers a fresh look that the babies are always curious about and want to investigate.
On Friday, we will spend time reading books about trains and we’ll also celebrate Shabbat. We hope you all enjoy the weekend and we will see you next week!
