This week we continued learning about birds by focusing on a few favorites like owls, ducks, and eagles!
We also learned about Israel and celebrated Israel’s independence day, Yom Ha’atzmaut!
On Monday and Tuesday we were very busy playing with some new puzzles, books, and dress-up. In the post office there were still pencils and cards to write notes as well as large and small envelopes to sort by size and search for names.
On Wednesday we sang fun songs about Israel during music and later made fun paper bag puppets!
Thursday was Yom Ha’atzmaut and we celebrated by dressing in kahol v’lavan, blue and white, to represent the flag. We sang and danced around while waving our own flags as well! Happy birthday, Israel!
Even with the crazy weather this week we were still able to get outside to the playground a few times. Hopefully we can get back to consistent warmer weather soon!
On Friday we will finish up talking about birds and look to next week learning about Earth Day with Mr. Benny.
