Hello Katom families,
We are excited to have most of our students healthy and back playing in the classroom again. With the growing list of illnesses circulating around our school, we have a priority to sanitize and clean our room frequently. Washing hands and the toys often ensure the children have a safe and clean environment to play in.
A favorite activity in our classroom is to go on a walk. This week we took the children on many walks around the school property. The fall weather has been beautiful. We are trying to squeeze in as many walks as possible before the cold weather sets in.
We love to do fun interactive activities with the children. All the children gathered in a circle and we had music. We sang songs and played with instruments. It’s the best way children learn and explore their curiosity. The children are exposed to a vast vocabulary and learn different musical concepts. Our class has been attending music and Shabbat. Our goal is to participate in many school activities.
This month our theme is transportation. We used paper plates, construction paper, and colorful tissue paper to create a car. The different types of materials exposed the children to different textures. They had so much fun creating art this week!
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We hope you have a great rest of your week and enjoy the beautiful fall weather!
