Happy Friday Katom Family’s
This is our last week of fall theme!
We did a fun art project this week! We gave the babies a pumpkin cut out and let them dot-dot paint it with fall colors of red, orange, and yellow!!
It was a fun way to explore texture, colors, and shapes!
We are wrapping up our fall theme with more fall songs and books. Our weekly favorites were “Apple’s, Apple’s” by Kathleen Weidner Zoehfeld and “Rain” by Peter Spier’s.
We have been focusing a lot about interactions in the classroom and making friends such as teaching about gentle touches and showing affection in an appropriate way. ( Gentle hugs, smiles etc. )
We loved seeing the babies grow and starting to do different things like standing crawling etc.
Our next theme will be Transportation!! Can’t wait to see all the babies driving.
Hope you have a unbe-leaf-able weekend!
