Katom Room כתום (Infants)

Happy Friday Katom families!
This week we continued on discovering the world of colors, and learning all about red, green, yellow, blue, etc.

The babies each made an individual paint palette. Art projects are important at any age, they help children express their creativity while exploring colors and textures, and develops sensory and small motor skills.

We were happy to see throughout the week that the baby’s started interacting with each other.
We have noticed them playing together, chasing each other around the room, and sharing toys while we talk about gentle touches, kindness, and sharing.

We had circle time with the babies where we read books like That’s not my Zebras Colors and Blue Hat, Green Hat, and sang songs about colors like The Rainbow Song to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle:
Red and orange, green and blue
Shiny yellow, purple, too.
All the colors that we know,
Live up in the rainbow.
Red and orange, green and blue

Shiny yellow, purple, too.

Overall, it’s been a great week!
Enjoy the hot weather this weekend!
Warmly, Miss Noa and Miss Clara
