Happy Friday Katom families and happy spring!
This week we said goodbye to Aella and Sidney who are moving up to join their friends in toddlers. Aella has grown into such a social butterfly and we love seeing her play with all the other babies. Sidney is such a silly boy who makes us laugh every day. We will miss them dearly but can’t wait to hear all about their new adventures in Kahol!
We wrapped up our shapes theme with one last project that also incorporated the upcoming holiday of Passover. It is traditional to have a Seder plate at the Passover Seder, and so this week, the babies each got to decorate their own. The plates were made up of circles of varying sizes, which gave the littles a new example of shapes in everyday life.
We also incorporated a few other Passover items this week! The babies read books about the Afikomen and the Four Questions and explored a plush Seder plate. We hope that all who celebrate have a wonderful Passover!
At the end of March, we are saying a temporary goodbye to Katom, as we will be closed for the month of April. We look forward to seeing you all again when we reopen in May and are excited to hear about the babies’ time in our other infant classroom, Tzahov, where the theme next month will be opposites!
We hope you all have a wonderful break and enjoy the beautiful spring weather!
