We said goodbye to our flower shop and turned our attention more to our new weather station. This week and next we will discuss all things weather related!
We did one last flower activity this week which took the form of a fine motor skills task. Each child got pom pins, their first initial and a wooden flower covered with glue. This is a great activity that helps develop their fine motor and finger dexterity.
Since there was such beautiful weather this week we went on a walk outside and even took the time to watch the pond with its little turtle and duck friends!
Miss Tira made homemade Playdough this week. The kiddos loved poking, tearing the material into tiny bits and making fun shapes! Look below for a recipe that you can use to make your own at home! It’s a great way to have sensory fun plus it’s safe if your kiddo takes a nibble.
Our other art project of the week was rainbow clouds. The kids took thickened paint and made their own unique rainbows! Each one is so beautiful and we can’t wait to share them with you!
We hope you stay well and get plenty of sun this weekend!
All the best!
