Welcome back to Adam! We are so happy to have you back with our class!
It has been a busy two weeks in Adom! We have been learning all about farms.
A highlight has been going to the gaga pit and pretending to be farmers. The toddlers love playing in the long grass, and it’s a nice change of pace and an excuse to get outside! Last week we brought out farm animals and “fed” them, and this week we went and visited a new garden next to the school before pretending to plant our own garden with plastic vegetables in the grass. The kids were very excited and many were shouting, “I a farmer!”
Other fun activities have included farm-related sensory bins (like scooping corn, raking hay, and washing farm animals with water), and some farm-related crafts.
We also got the kids to try “milking” a cow by filling up disposable gloves with water and poking a hole in one of the fingers! It was super cute and the toddlers really enjoyed it.
As always, we’ve also been enjoying daily water play and time in the big room.
We also had some extra special days these past weeks: rainbow day and fancy nancy day! It’s so great seeing all of the special outfits. Our theme days always add a little extra excitement into the day!
We also celebrated Kate’s second birthday!
AND we got to watch Ms. Amanda’s class release their butterflies!
Here are some other cute photos!
