Hello adom families! I hope you had a lovely week! We had a fun week filled with lots of time outside a little water play and most importantly we had a fun week of learning and exploring!
All week we read Should I Share My Ice Cream? A perfect book that talked about the importance of sharing and how it can make you feel so good! It also taught a lesson about things not going as you planned, but that’s okay! We also talked about ice cream and sweet treats like popsicles all week!
On Monday we had a day of fun in the sun. 🙂 We had some much needed water play! Mr. Benny was in our room and we LOVED having him! We have a new sprinkler this year and it is a big hit so far.
On Tuesday we started our morning with some fun color matching! Miss Maddie made us a popsicle color matching game! The todds loooved it! They all wanted a turn naming a color! It was a great game because it also had a fine motor activity incorporated! It was great. 🙂
On Wednesday we started our day with different matching with green and blue ice creams. Again the todds were enthusiastic and ready to match the ice cream flavors!
We were then off and ready for music with Cantor Schwartz.
Thursday there was tape all over the classroom, some was meant for lining up at the door, some to drive cars on and some to jump from tape to tape. There was also tape on the tables for us to peel off! Another great fun fine motor activity! The todds had a lot of fun. We practiced asking for help when we wanted to re-stick our tape!
Friday Jack will be our Shabbat helper. 🙂 We will talk about special people in our lives!
Next week we are going to talk about animals that live under water. 🙂
Best, Miss Aly
