Benny Swenson, Toddler Teacher
Benny was born and raised in Hopkins, Minnesota. Benny was educated through Hopkins Public Schools’ and graduated from Hopkins High School in the spring of 2018. Since then, he has been a student at Minneapolis Community & Technical College. He has taken several early childhood education classes and training’s, but is focusing on majoring in psychology. Benny started working with children as a camp counselor in the summer of 2016. In the fall of that same year, He starting working at Bet Shalom Yeladim as an aide for extended care. Now, he is the assistant teacher in the toddler room. He loves working at Bet Shalom because of their devoted teachers and caring parents. He believes ensuring a safe and engaging learning experience for young children is most important. He also works as the receptionist at Bet Shalom for religious school. Other than work and school, Benny enjoys cooking, hanging out at his family’s cabin, watching movies, and spending time with his family and friends.
