Explore the teachings of the S’fat Emet (the pseudonym of the Hasidic Rabbi Yehudah Aryeh Leib Alter, 1847-1905) on the weekly Torah portion, in which he wrestles with timeless issues in the text.
Rabbi Locketz and Rabbi Crimmings will be joined by Rabbi David Thomas in facilitating this weekly session. The first Saturday of each month will be led by Rabbi David Thomas. We will meet in Room 208.
Rabbi David Thomas is the former rabbi of Congregation Beth El in Sudbury Valley, MA. He is a Senior Rabbinic Fellow of the Shalom Hartman Institute, and has been a board member for the Central Conference of American Rabbis. He is heavily involved with social action initiatives, and lives in Minneapolis with his family.
