We had a busy and productive class on Sunday. We had the chance to visit the sukkah as you can see from the pictures I posted. We even had HTM (Hebrew) with Mr. Larry in the Sukkah. We made a decorative piece of corn to hang in our own sukkahs or to just hang up as fall decor. We read Sammy Spider’s First Sukkot and Is It Sukkot Yet? as well as a book about sharing. We ended our busy day with the unrolling of the entire Torah! It’s amazing to see how long it is and many students commented on the beautiful hand-printed inked Hebrew. It’s fun to come together for this annual tradition!
Mazel Tov to Asher for earning the Mensch Award!
Finally, here are some important reminders.
-We do NOT have religious school this Sunday (Oct. 20th).
-We DO have Consecration that night though. The group picture is at 5:15 (please arrive a few minutes early) followed by a group dinner with the Confirmation students and their families. The service will be at 6:00. I hope you’ve picked up the surprise Torah cover materials for you to make for your child. This is such a fun surprise for them to receive. If you have any questions regarding the Torah cover supplies, please contact Ali King.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope to see you Sunday night!
