5th Grade: Suzy’s Update

We are off to a running start in 2020!

For Rosh Chodesh, the kids learned about the phases of the moon and created beautiful nighttime scenes of a fond memory. We are planning to take black and white photos of the trees surrounding the synagogue and frame them in honor of Tu BiShvat! It’s been amazing to see how creative and thoughtful the fifth graders are with their artwork!

On Wednesdays, we are focusing on learning and reviewing the foundational prayers and continuing our Modern Israel curriculum. In closing, ask your child to sing the Hebrew Hokey Pokey if you want a good laugh!
