DVDs Needed for Bet Shalom Library - Please Help!

It’s January, when the weather gets colder and it’s time to snuggle up with a good book or watch your favorite DVD. Come into the library for your book. We have a wonderful collection of new non-fiction and fiction books for Adults and Children that were donated this month with the Barnes and Noble Book Fair and through generous private donations from Vicki Lansky, Suzi Saxl and Ann Tesler and her family in honor of their B’nai Mitzvah in December.

Looking for DVD’s to watch? WELL— we would like to be the place to find Jewish films in all genres for you to think about. Right now, we have NO DVD’s for our congregants to check out! So—I would like to challenge all congregants to look at their collections and see if you have some DVD’s that have: Jewish content or characters; that you don’t watch anymore or that are just gathering dust and donate them to start our collection.

If you want to buy a new DVD for the library as a mitzvah gift for one of the days of Hanukkah or a special memory or celebration, you can go to:

http://www.jewishfilm.com/

Find one you like and have it shipped directly to Bet Shalom Library. We will put a donation plate on the back and start a DVD collection like no other in the Twin Cities. We will take anything that appeals to you because if you want to see it, it is likely someone else does too! It is an opportunity to easily make a huge and noticeable difference to the entire congregation, young and old.

Here is a list of DVD’s you might want to buy or have in your collection that you can donate. (There is no particular order to this list) Visit the web site above and find one you like too:
