We have many wonderful events planned for the upcoming year. We’d like to highlight the following three upcoming Sisterhood events:

Sisterhood Area Day, August 23 at Temple Israel. $15 includes lunch, Torah Study using the new Women’s Torah Commentary, WRJ Midwest President, Terri Argentar will speak, a Lilith Salon, and the opportunity to interract with fascinating women from area Sisterhoods.

Mini Golf “Fun Raiser”, Sunday, September 21 3-5 pm. Centennial Lakes, Edina-to benefit Shalom Yeladim Preschool; specifically funds raised help teachers shop for their classrooms!

Art Auction, Saturday, October 25. The art auction is the first event held jointly with the Congregation. This promises to be an exciting evening. Appetizers, desserts and wine will be served. Each admission gets a ticket for 2 pieces of art to be given during the evening. Bring friends who aren’t Bet Shalom members. This is a great opportunity to show us off, as well as to have a delightful evening. Some of the evening’s proceeds will go towards scholarships for Shalom Yeladim, to help those Congregants who need an assist to send their youngster to our excellent preschool.
